G-Shock re-releases two nostalgic classics

Casio have released two re-introduced styles as the brand continues to celebrate its 30th Anniversary. The now classic, tough and durable, DW5600 and DW6900 have been updated with a vintage colour-way with brown highlights. The new DW5030C-1 and DW6930C-1 timepieces, already on sale, are part of the Limited Edition 30th Anniversary collection series.

Taking the classic G-SHOCK silhouette of the 5600 and 6900, the DW5030C-1 and DW6930C-1 have been released as  special edition models. Both models are designed with a metal band holder reading “Since 1983” engraved on the back, a commemorative embellishment acknowledging G-SHOCK’s inception.

DW6930C-1

The two models hold strong to G-SHOCK’s brand ideology of being tough and durable with features including: shock resistance, 200M water resistance, EL backlighting, flash alert, multi-function alarm, 1/100th sec. stopwatch, and countdown timer; all while functioning on a 12/24 hour time format. The DW5030C-1 model comes equipped with a resin covered, full stainless steel case and a screw-lock case back which nostalgically harks back to the original 1983 case design. The watches retail for between £82.00 – £125.00

The 5600 and 6900 case designs have become not only nostalgic, but also iconic styles for G-SHOCK and its fan base. We are proud to offer the DW5030C-1 and DW6930C-1 in this exciting vintage color-way as part of our 30th anniversary collection.
