B.R.M. Laponie Ice Driving Limited Edition watch

Normally ice and driving are two things to be avoided at all costs, but in what is described as a no-compromise car-driving experience literally unique in the world, enabling the most demanding to acquire the skills necessary to master high-speed ice drifts, French motorsports watch brand B.R.M, in partnership with Laponie Ice Driving, has produced a limited-edition chronograph in honour of the relatively new sport.

The limited-edition watch is a modified version of the brand’s V12-44 model. The 44mm titanium watch comes in the colours of Laponie Ice Driving and features an automatic chronograph with tachymeter, brushed stainless steel pushers and lugs, a brushed stainless steel crown engraved with the Laponie Ice Driving logo and a black dial engraved with Laponie Ice Driving.

But the watch is going to be as hard to get hold of as mastering the art of effective ice driving. Only 20 watches will be released.

Available from January, the watch will retail at just under £4,500.
