adidas Originals Newburgh Chronograph Watch

If, like some of us at Click Tempus, you have what is commonly known as an adidas addiction, you’re almost certainly going to be interested in the Newburgh Chronograph watch.  The watch is the first of a series of new limited edition timepieces from adidas Orginals for Spring/Summer 2013.

The Newburgh watch is a big and powerful design with its bold numbers and striking hour markers really standing out against the black titanium case. Measuring 50mm in diameter, the case includes a functional bezel and screw down crown. The watch is water resistant to 200 metres and also includes a sapphire crystal

The hour markers, numbers and hands have all been treated with a super luminescent coating, so as to feature the numbers on the rotating bezel.

Powered by a Japanese quartz movement, the Newburgh Limited Edition Chronograph also features an LED backlight which can be activated by pressing the button located at 7 o’clock.

Of course, Newburgh watches from adidas Originals are nothing new and whilst it will most probably be overlooked by serious watch collectors, the Newburgh Chronograph is certainly a step up from most of the brands other ‘fashion’ watches and could be a good choice for a young first time watch buyer or adidas Originals fan.

Limited to just 500 pieces worldwide, the Adidas Originals Newburgh Limited Edition Chronograph (ref ADH9044) retails for £529 and is available in the UK from all flagship adidas Originals stores, as well as from selected retailers online.
