Tudor Heritage Advisor Watch for 2013

Swiss watch maker Tudor has presented the latest version of its popular Heritage Advisor watch. As well as its stylish looks, the watch features a mechanical alarm complication, which was built completely in house and follows on nicely from the previous Tudor Heritage Advisor watch, launched in 2010.

The new watch, with its two tone dial, shaded in velvety black maintains the brand’s vintage spirit and inherits the same shape and proportions in the lugs, middle case and bezel. The signature hour markers, Dauphine hands and red alarm hand also featured on the 2010 version.

The steel and titanium case of the new Tudor Heritage Advisor measures 42mm in diameter and is quite a bit larger than the original which had a diameter of just 34mm.

The case houses a Tudor Calibre 2892 self winding mechanical movement, which boasts a 42 hour power reserve.

Taking a closer look at the dial, you’ll find the power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock, with the ON/OFF alarm aperture at 9 o’clock and a date a indicator at 6 o’clock.

At the position of 2 o’clock is the winding crown which is engraved with “Advisor” and can also be used to set the alarm complication. The 4 o’clock crown is then decorated with the Tudor logo and is used to set the time and date functions as well as with assessing the winding. The 8 o’clock pusher is used to active the alarm function.

The 2013 Tudor Heritage Advisor watch is secured to the wrist via vintage sized satin finished 3 piece link bracelet made from steel or by a trendy alligator leather strap complete with folding clasp.

The watch also comes with an additional black fabric strap which helps to give the watch a slightly different look.
