Ralph Lauren first introduced a safari themed fashion collection in 1984. Now, three new models have been introduced to the Ralph Lauren Safari RL67 Safari timepiece collection: the RL 67 Safari Tourbillon, the RL 67 Safari Automotive, and the RL 67 Safari Chronometer.
The RL67 Chronometer posesses a vintage look and is distinguished by a dial with cream-coloured Arabic numerals, boldly sized at 6 and 12 o’clock, and an orange seconds hand.
With a 45mm diameter case, this new timepiece, equipped with the Movement RL300-1-COSC-certified chronometer, features an aged steel case made possible by a technical treatment that transforms the blackened steel into a sublime patina. The watch is finished with the collection’s signature faded olive canvas strap.
At US$3,250, though, Ralph Lauren enters IWC, Longines or Omega Speedmaster territory, so it might be worth going on your own watch safari before settling on it.
