Oris has just released the Big Crown Timer, which combines the classic design of Oris Big Crown models with a modern twist – the perfect companion for any aviation enthusiast.
A new addition, this model’s focal point is a revolving outer top ring with minute scale. PVD plated, with gun metal colouring, the watch is housed in a simple, but bold, multi-piece stainless steel case. The timepiece also features a double domed sapphire crystal, with non-reflective coating on the inside and a screwed case back with see-through mineral crystal.
The display features the date at 3 o’clock and the day at 9 o’clock- adding balance and precision. The numbers and indexes are printed with Superluminova, while the black and white nickel hands have a luminous inlay- a watch for all hours of the day.
Water resistant to 30 metres, the watch is finished with a dark brown calfskin leather strap, with contrast stitching and a PVD plated stainless steel buckle – a fitting finish to a serious watch.
