Louis Moinet Derrick Tourbillon

What do you buy the oilman who has everything? One of the 12 Louis Moinet Derrick Tourbillons, of course.

Above the tourbillon at 6:00, is an animated pumping oil derrick – made of aluminum to reduce the weight. Part of the Treasures of the World collection, the new Derrick Tourbillon from Louis Moinet comes complete with a moving, replicated oil derrick on its dial. The derrick is strictly decorative and was developed in conjunction with Concepto.

The watch is being created in a limited edition of 12 pieces. Crafted in 18-karat white gold, it retails at the oil mogul’s price of approximately $300,000. More to follow as soon as we get it.
