First launched in 2006, the Girard-Perregaux 1966 collection pays homage, unsurprisingly, to the 1960s, an era in which the Swiss watch brand was at the very height of its watch making powers. It was during this time that GP launched its first High Frequency movement which became renowned for its accuracy and performance.

Measuring 30mm in diameter, the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady is slender, yet with the help of the stunning diamond set bezel and lugs, rest assured this is one watch that won’t go unnoticed.
The dial is then finished by a neo-classical guilloche pattern that is further complemented by ten brilliant cut diamonds that are used as hour markers, with Roman numerals featured at 6 and 12 o’clock.
Inside, the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady watch is driven by the in-house calibre GP03200 mechanical movement that beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph, contains 26 jewels and is visible through the watch’s sapphire crystal case back. The movement is engraved with the Girard-Perregaux logo and includes Cotes de Geneve decoration on its main plate and bridges. The watch also has a power reserve of a minimum 42 hours.
The Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady is available in a choice of white gold or pink, both of which are set with 80 cut diamonds that weigh in at around 0.73 carats. The watch is then finished with a black or white calf skin strap with either a pink or white gold buckle.
