Concord Saratoga Chronograph

Sometimes it must be a bit of a struggle for Swiss watch brands to find a worthwhile excuse to make a new and expensive commemorative watch, but Concord believe they have managed to find one with the release of a new Concord Saratoga Chronograph which celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Saratoga Race Course in New York.

Saratoga Race Course 1865

It opened on August 3, 1863, and it is typically open for racing from late July through early September. The grounds at Saratoga Race Course contain several unique features. Patrons can get close up views of the horses being led to the paddock as the path from the stables runs through the picnic grounds.

As a tribute to 150 years of spectacular horse racing, Concord is launching Saratoga’s timeless original design in full PVD in the 2013 version of its 2004 Concord Saratoga SR.

The Concord Saratoga Chronograph 2013 is a sleek luxury sports watch. The caseback reveals thoroughbred horses racing across the legendary track. Casual and versatile, the PVD Concord Saratoga Chronograph is a timepiece whose black PVD finish stainless steel case is complemented by gleaming stainless steel links throughout, resulting in greater suppleness and enhanced comfort for the wearer.

The Concord Saratoga houses larger counters, big date and crystal clear Roman numerals in its 42 mm diameter case encircled by an elegant eight-sided signature bezel.
