Piaget, the Swiss luxury watchmaker, known for its dedication to cinema and the arts, is proud to be featured in the compelling drama, The Company Men.
The film follows the lives of three men affected by the recession and corporate downsizing, and stars an award winning ensemble, including Academy Award winners Ben Affleck, Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, and Chris Cooper.
Affleck is well known for his memorable performances in The Town, Pearl Harbor, The Boiler Room and Goodwill Hunting.

The movie begins with Affleck’s character Bobby Walker enjoying all the trappings of a well paid executive’s life; the expensive well furnished home, the mandatory Porsche Turbo and of course the Piaget watch.
After being downsized his initial determination and confidence that he will bounce back straight away is steadily eroded as he finds it increasingly difficult to find meaningful work. Eventually he loses everything, the car, the home, but not the Piaget watch – some things are just too sacred! He is also is forced to take on a handyman’s role with his brother-in-law, carpenter Jack Dolan – played by Kevin Costner.
At the end of the movie we see a determined and upbeat Bobby Walker take back control of his own destiny by starting a manufacturing company on derelict ship building yards.
