Something old, something new: Tissot Tradition G15.561

Following on from the Longines Master Collection Retrograde Moon Phases, here’s another watch powered by a totally new movement, the Tissot Tradition G15.561 is the brand’s first ever analogue perpetual calendar timepiece. The G15.561 quartz movement’s perpetual calendar will operate without any adjustment necessary throughout the 21st century, automatically taking leap years in its stride.

Tissot have introduced several designs to make up the 2011 Tissot Tradition range, both chronographs and gent models with three-hand mechanism with hours, minutes, seconds and the perpetual calendar with the month, day and date. All of them feature a currently contemporary nod towards nostalgia with a crisp, uncomplicated 50s look about them.

Dial colours are in anthracite, silver and black with stainless steel casing and a leather strap. Pricing is not yet confirmed.
