Bulova Accutron Calibrator 65B148

Bulova Accutron has unveiled its Calibrator 65B148 timepiece. The watch is the first automatic timepiece of its kind to allow the wearer to set its accuracy with the help of Bulova’s External Fine Adjustment System (EFAS).

The EFAS is operated via a key that is inserted at the position of 9 o’clock and enables accuracy to approximately 99.99%, making it one of the most accurate timepieces in the world. The EFAS is indicated via a retrograde hand which you can see at 9 o’clock. You’ll also find a date window 3 o’clock.

The watch is presented in a 43mm case crafted from stainless steel, which includes a rose gold PVD coating. The black dial, which features a centrally positioned ‘Clous de Paris’ guilloche pattern, is protected by an anti reflective sapphire crystal.

The Bulova Accutron Calibrator 65B148 is powered by a Stellita SW200 automatic mechanical movement, which includes 26 jewels and is visible through a sapphire crystal caseback.

The watch is then equipped with a black leather strap, fastened with a folding clasp. The timepiece is water resistant to 50 metres and is also available in a silver-white version with a brown leather strap (63B160) or a silver-white with stainless steel bracelet (63B161).
