Swiss luxury watch brand Cvstos has announced an exciting new partnership with Dani Pedrosa, the 2012 MotoGP Vice-Champion.
This exclusive collaboration between the watch brand, and the 27 year old Spaniard was brought about by the friendship between Pedrosa and Sassoun Sirmakes, the Cvstos CEO who launched the brand in 2005. The Repsol Honda rider and Swiss-American entrepreneur have been friends for a number of years and share a love for Motorsports.
Having learnt to ride his first motorbike, an Italjet 50, at just four years old, Dani Pedrosa is now a 3 times world champion. Riding for the Honda Team, Pedrosa won an impressive seven out of a possible 18 Grand Prix’s during the 2012 season, having also secured a podium finish an incredible 16 times out of 18 races.
As part of the partnership, Pedrosa has worked closely with Cvstos creative director Antonio Terranova to co-design their own racing inspired timepiece.
The new Challenge Pedrosa Chronograph is currently being developed and we’ll keep you updated with any more information as and when we get it. However, it is thought that the new Pedrosa timepiece will include a number of stylistic features and materials found on Pedrosa’s current Superbike, the Honda RC213V.
Whilst the Challenge Pedrosa Chronograph is in development, Dani will be sporting a Cvstos Jet Liner (pictured below) during his pre-track training sessions. He’ll also reserve a Chrono II Challenger for special occasions. Well, why not?
