Ulysse Nardin launches Monaco 2010 Yacht Show with new limited edition Marine Diver timepiece

In truth the Monaco Yacht Show is noted more for its super yachts than its super watches, but when one of the key sponsors happens to be luxury Swiss watch makers Ulysse Nardin, you can expect a watch or two to be on show as well.

To celebrate the 2010 Yacht Show Ulysse Nardin’s latest chronograph was unveiled at this event over the weekend. The famed watch making brand is celebrating the boat show’s 20th anniversary with the limited-edition Monaco 2010 Marine Diver. The exclusive timepiece was unveiled at the opening ceremony of this prestigious boat show and duly impressed all in attendance.

The newest addition to the Marine Diver collection, the Monaco 2010 Marine Diver timepiece pays tribute to the historic city on the Mediterranean Sea, and at the same time honours Ulysse Nardin’s nautical legacy in high horology. It’s a watch destined to appeal to those who have a passion for yachting as well as a passion for unique luxury watches.

The sporty case measures 45.8 mm in diameter and features a matte-black rubber coating. The exhibition case back reveals the self winding Calibre UN-26, 11 ½” movement. The timepiece is on a rubber strap with ceramic components and an exclusive black ceramic folding clasp.

The Ulysse Nardin 2010 Marine Diver is limited to just 100 pieces which are individually numbered.

A fitting tribute to mark the 20th anniversary of the prestigious yacht show.
