Provide clear detailed pictures of your vintage watch
It is therefore vital to have a series of crisp and clear photographs to show off every detailed facet of the watch to help you secure the confidence of the buyer and to help you sell your vintage watch online.
This helps to prove that the watch is original, and to show off its gleaming and excellent condition. All of this requires good preparation prior to taking the picture. Of course some vintage watches will show signs of age, and high quality photography will inevitably show up some of the scratches. This is acceptable on the inside of the case but if it is on the outside you can either admit to this in your description or, depending on the rarity of the watch, decide not to offer it for onward sale.
Rarely can you sell a watch with just one picture; a real watch lover wants to look at what he will buy from every angle.

If you cannot take decent pictures yourself – (and photographing watches can be notoriously difficult) see if you can find a professional photographer to come into partnership with you on a commission basis. The quality of the photography will add huge value to your watch.
