This is the latest offering from Swiss luxury watch maker Hublot.
The Red ‘N’ Black Skeleton Tourbillon watch has been specially created for Only Watch 2013, the world’s first charity watch auction, which is now in its 5th year. The auction will be held in Monaco on 28th September 2013, with all proceeds from the sale of the Hublot Red ‘N’ Black Skeleton Tourbillon going to the Monegasque Association against Muscular Dystrophy.
This one of a kind watch also continues with Hublot’s commitment to innovation in watch making. The watch features a black ceramic Classic Fusion case which measures 45mm in diameter with a polished and satin finished surface. You’re eyes are then immediately drawn to the red ceramic bezel which is said to pay tribute to the colours of Monaco.
Looking beyond the bezel, the fully skeletonised tourbillon movement is quite a sight with its elegant and contemporary design. The movement itself beats at a steady 21,600 vph, is made up of 155 individual parts and is decorated with 19 jewels. It also features a five day power reserve which has been developed entirely by the specialists at Hublot.
To match the red coloured bezel, the tourbillon is housed inside a red sub dial and red stitching can also be found on the black alligator strap which has been stitched to a black rubber strap for added comfort and flexibility.
