When it comes to searching for the juiciest cuts, the meatiest tenderloins and the most succulent T-bones, the stakes are really high. Fear not. If you are hankering for a slice of the action, these global venues will certainly get you sizzling in no time.

New York steakhouses

New York has always rated highly in the steakhouse charts where you can enjoy an endless list of meaty venues.

These include the likes of Peter Luger (178 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11211) or Old Homestead (56 Ninth Ave) which has been a focal point of the Meatpacking District for 150 years. Yet there are tastier morsels out there. Check out Palm (840 Second Ave.) which is famed for its enormous steaks as well as an excellent array of sea food.

Sparks: one of the best in NYC

There is also Sparks (210 E 46th St, between Second and Third Avenue) which pulls in the punters regularly and has been recognised in the Top 100 restaurants in NYC. Book in advance and tuck into one of their classic 16 ounce sirloins with a sublime charring. Thirsty for more? Don’t worry as you can wash this down with a glass from their award winning wine list.

Meanwhile if Atlantic City is more your style then hot for 2013 is American Cut (500 Boardwalk Atlantic City, NJ 08401). Bask in the stunning ocean views at Marc Forgione’s sublime meaty joint. The Art Deco interiors are simply divine whilst some dishes provide a whimsical look at recipes from a bygone era. This includes the inspirational Caesar Salad taken from the original dish from 1924. You will no doubt be salivating already but don’t miss out on their massive 40-ounce tomahawk rib eye chop or the seafood tasting selection featuring mouth-watering chilli lobster.
