Not just because of its obvious beauty, but because you could be mistaken for thinking at first that it is an item of jewellery – which it is, to some extent – with no other function but to adorn a wrist and look pretty. This is no ordinary ladies’ watch; it is a statement, inspired by an object that has consistently captivated artists and poets for years. The dial is small, but not unnecessarily so, and it acts as the ticking heart of the luscious bloom that surrounds it.
Flowers have always provided inspiration, as one of nature’s best inventions. The colours they possess, the form of their petals and the grace with which they hold themselves has been translated in ample abundance into all manner of objects.
