After recently appearing at Baselworld for the first time, JeanRichard has released the Terrascope Blue Dial watch as part of its collection in 2013.
This sporty looking timepiece includes a stainless steel satin finished case that measures 46mm in diameter and also comes with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. On the reverse, the case back has been engraved with the JeanRichard logo.
Taking a close look at the watch, you are immediately drawn to the bright blue dial that features steel coloured hands displaying the hours and minutes. The dial also includes hollowed out applied indexes which look almost like a U-shape. Both the hands and indexes have been treated with a superluminova coating. The second hand is arrow shaped and finished with a red tip, which also helps it to stand out against the blue dial. The date window is at 3 o’clock.
The JeanRichard Terrascope Blue Dial is powered by an in-house self winding JR60 calibre movement that is decorated with 26 jewels and which beats at a steady 28,800vph. The movement also provides a minimum power reserve of 38 hours.
The watch is then presented on a blue calfskin strap or is also available with a steel bracelet that features contrasting links and which is perhaps a bit smarter than the sportier blue strap.
Whilst the watch might not be the most extravagant timepiece we’ve ever featured on Click Tempus, it’s simple, yet stylish design certainly helps to add to its appeal.
